Emily is originally from Wisconsin and moved to Raleigh in 2012. She has 9 years of experience as a teacher and school administrator with the majority of those years working for Wake County School System. Emily graduated from Marquette University with a degree in Political Science and Education, and is a former NCAA athlete as a member of the women's soccer team. After relocating to Raleigh she completed her Masters in School Administration from East Carolina University. Emily is an avid runner and has fallen in love with the southern culture of North Carolina. She spends time with her family experiencing the Carolina beaches, the Blue Ridge Mountains and all the Raleigh area has to offer. Emily, along with her husband and two young boys, reside in Wake Forest.
